Lay your head on my shoulder beloved. In Me you will find rest. Your soul is weary and your body is tired. Slow down and rest. Abide in me. Abide in My word. In My presence and in My word, you will find rest. You will find renewal. You will find peace. You will find Me.
For too long you have tried to do it on your own. And now it seems as if you are at the end of your rope. But Glory and Hallelujah, that is where I come in. When you have done all that you can do and you finally surrender to Me. Watch and see what I will do. I will amaze you. I will surprise you. I will bless you.
Yes, I will come in like a mighty rushing wind. I will clean out all the nooks and all the crevices. I will make new. You cannot put new wine into old wine skins for they will burst. Similar with you, I cannot put My presence nor My spirit nor My blessings into the old. I must make you new. You must be renewed and transformed into My likeness. Then you will be able to hold all My blessings, all My favor, all My presence. I long to give you a new life. A life full of joy. A life full of peace. A life full of love.
“Neither is new wine put into old wineskins. If it is, the skins burst and the wine is spilled and the skins are destroyed. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.””
