Come, it is raining. Come into the rain and quench your thirsty soul. Come, abide in rivers of living water.
The world is a teller of lies. It is a deceiver. Examine your heart and uproot anything that has been planted by the world. Those are weeds that will snuff out my goodness in your life.
You have made plans and created desires of the heart. They are not from me. What I have for you will lead to blessings, joy, and a fruitful and long life. What the world offers is trash and traps. What I freely give you is a treasure born out of love.
Do not be afraid to walk the path I have laid out for you. Harken back to the first fruits of our love, the passion you had for me. Let me reignite the fire for love and holiness inside your heart. Let it burn bright so that the calling of the world melts away.
Store up for yourself eternal treasures. The treasures of the world will rot and decay. You already know that my kingdom will always be in opposition to the world’s practices. Set your mind to participate in my economy. I will bless you beyond measure.
Your roots will be firmly established by me. I will produce fruit that will not only bless your family, but others around you as well. Your trunk will be robust and strong. Your branches will be laden with fruit. Others will take refuge in the shade of your tree, and none will go hungry.
Set aside your worldly plans and endeavor to serve me alone. Hunger after righteousness and holiness. Fill your mind with my word. Sit and listen closely to my voice. I will give you everything you need and so much more. Beloved, abide in me.
