Burden Free

There was a time when you stood tall with boulders hanging from your shoulders. But I came and cut those ties. You fell because you weren’t used to the lightness. You fell to the ground and weren’t able to stand. You continue to reach for the boulders; they are all you’ve ever known. But I have removed the boulders; they are out of reach. Those boulders will no longer fit. Those boulders are not for you. 

Come, walk with me. I’ll show you a new way. Do you want to live burden free? Then take my hand and come with me. 
How does it feel to be burden free? It may feel strange at first, but you’ll relish the freedom. 

I have come to give you a new life; a life filled to the brim. What do you require? Dream big; ask and you shall receive. 

I have never denied you. Maybe you weren’t ready or your heart was not focused on me. I will not give you what will destroy you. I will give you what will bless you. 
Trust me. Trust in my love and trust in my love for you. 

As you rest in me, I will make you taller and stronger. Look, your feet are clad with running shoes. I’ve given you strength and agility. 

From now on, you will quickly arrive to the places I’ve set before you. There’s no delay. Put on your shoes and move into what I have for you. 

Oh, you will be delighted and awestruck. Remember, stay focused on me and I will give you the desires of your heart.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.””

A New Calling

I will give you a new spirit, says the Lord. I will give you a new mind and a new heart. What has been is not able to withstand what I have for you.

I have a new calling for you greater than anything that has been before. You’ve worn your shoes well, but look they are worn and tight. It’s time for new shoes in a bigger size. For I have new places and paths for you to travel.

Take down your biggest suitcase, for it will be filled to the brim. Don’t worry, you won’t have to carry anything on your back. I will sustain the weight.

Look to the horizon, I am your ever present help. I am your strong tower. The righteous abide in my presence, and they are protected. Flee from the pursuits of the flesh and worldly passions. Hide yourself in my presence. I will keep you safe.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 12:2 NIV

Living Water

Come, it is raining. Come into the rain and quench your thirsty soul. Come, abide in rivers of living water. 

The world is a teller of lies. It is a deceiver. Examine your heart and uproot anything that has been planted by the world. Those are weeds that will snuff out my goodness in your life. 

You have made plans and created desires of the heart. They are not from me. What I have for you will lead to blessings, joy, and a fruitful and long life. What the world offers is trash and traps. What I freely give you is a treasure born out of love. 

Do not be afraid to walk the path I have laid out for you. Harken back to the first fruits of our love, the passion you had for me. Let me reignite the fire for love and holiness inside your heart. Let it burn bright so that the calling of the world melts away. 

Store up for yourself eternal treasures. The treasures of the world will rot and decay. You already know that my kingdom will always be in opposition to the world’s practices. Set your mind to participate in my economy. I will bless you beyond measure.

Your roots will be firmly established by me. I will produce fruit that will not only bless your family, but others around you as well. Your trunk will be robust and strong. Your branches will be laden with fruit. Others will take refuge in the shade of your tree, and none will go hungry. 

Set aside your worldly plans and endeavor to serve me alone. Hunger after righteousness and holiness. Fill your mind with my word. Sit and listen closely to my voice. I will give you everything you need and so much more. Beloved, abide in me.

“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.””

Exalt Me

Exalt me with all your mind and heart. Exalt me over your emotions, your fears and your worries. Exalt my name on high. Fill your breath with praises. For I come from on high. There is glory trailing me. In my right hand is your salvation and in my left hand is your provision. Raise your hands in surrender and praise me. 

I am you’re jealous God and I will not suffer a divided heart. You belong to me and only me. You desire peace and joy, and it is only found in me. 

Walk straight, and then head left. That is the path I have set for you. Do not worry about the terrain. The ocean is to one side and the desert is ahead. I have placed an oasis at every step you take. 

Truly, I have blessed your feet. Your feet will confidently take you to the place I have prepared for you. Do not be afraid to go forth. Know that I have ordained this journey, and what awaits you are treasures unknown and beautiful to behold. 

Come, come now. I have strengthened your body. There’s only joy in obedience. Trust me, for I love you so. 

Did you think I was done with you? No, never. My hand is upon you. I will fill your mind with wonders, your mouth with my words and your hands with treasures. 

Come, the sheep are waiting. Feed them, protect them, and guide them.

Put on your pants, put on your shirt and put on your shoes. Shake the dust. Apathy has tried to cling to you, but quick shake it off. I have a new vision for you. I will energize your heart, sharpen your vision and hearing.

This shelter is too small. There’s not enough room for all that I have for you. Get up and leave this place. Take nothing with you. I will provide all you need and so much more. Come, come and let us go.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

Mountain Tops

Behold, I have saddled the mountains in your name for My sake.  Come, join Me on the mountain tops. 

Look, I have claimed this territory for you, as far as the eye can see and beyond.  The cliffs are rugged and the path is brutal.  But I have made a way for you.  You have hind’s feet to help you leap and bound with strength and ease.  You will reach the mountain top to rest and feast with Me. 

Do not fear, the climb will not destroy you.  Have confidence in the work of My hands.  I have transformed you and renewed you.  Again, trust in the work of My hands.  You will not faint, hunger or thirst. 

See the valley below?  It is lush and green. The work of your hands, I will multiply and multiply it.  You will be amazed and in wonder. 

Years of obedience to My Word have yielded an enduring inheritance.  I saw the sacrifices.  I saw the determination and I saw that you kept walking forward.  Step by step, with every step you took, I rejoiced and determined to bless you.  Now, come my son and enjoy. 

I am well pleased and call you My friend.  Come and let Me show you wonders too great to behold.  It’s in the secret place where I will multiply your understanding.  Walk in wisdom. 

Great are the trials, but you stay hidden in My secret place.  I will show you the path.  My people who are called by My name, who walk in My ways, and who love My word will be untouched.  My hand is over you.  Come, come to My secret place and I will show you the way.

“Does not wisdom cry out,  and understanding lift up her voice?…For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord; but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.”  Proverbs 8:1, 35-36

Your Inheritance is Victory

I am Jehovah Nissi, your banner of victory. I have already won the battle and declared the victory. The horn has been blown and the enemies have scattered. All have been given due notice. 
Walk in My victory. Those that remain are deaf and dumb. It’s but a whisper and with a gentle breath, they are scattered. 
You walk with a yell of victory. Fill up your lungs with air and raise your voice in victory. Step forward with confidence. The enemy has been defeated. Let every breath, bone and muscle in your body declare that you are a child of the King, the Most High. Your inheritance is victory. 
Rise up from your bed. The days of sorrow are over. Rise up and take your sword. Gird up your loins and grab your coat. All that is left to do is to claim the territory. Take the flag of righteousness and dig it into the land. This is part of your inheritance. It’s already won and claimed. 
Go and live there. Set up your tents and take up residence. The enemy has been evicted. This land is flowing with milk and honey and the giants have been defeated. 
The work of your hands will be blessed and multiplied like never before. Your provision will be great and your shelter will be enlarged.  
The doors will be opened for many to find refuge. Feed My people. The provision is at your right hand. Open your hand and you will see Me multiply it. As long as you serve Me, your provision will never run dry. 
Do not look to your left, keep your gaze squarely on Me. Do not lean back, but stand firm and erect. The enemy is a deceiver. You remember and write it on your heart; I have given you the victory.

“Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, everlasting joy will be theirs.”
Isaiah 61:7

God’s Provision

Oh My child, why do you fret?  What is there to worry about?  What concerns you so?

Did I not save my servant Daniel from the lions?  Did I not hide David from Saul’s wrath?  Did I not feed Elijah with birds in the wilderness?  I defeated death itself.  See?  There is nothing to fear. 

Take My hand and rest in My presence.  I have all that you need.  Do you need courage?  I will equip you and fortify you.  Do you need money?  Remember, all of it is Mine and I freely provide for you.  Do you need love?  Only I can love you tenderly and wholly.  Do not seek these things apart from Me.  It will only lead to destruction and misery. 

Wait, I say, wait on Me.  I have your perfect provision.  Look, look to the horizon.  Now to the mountain tops.  Even in the driest deserts, I am there.  I can care for you wherever you are. 

Let go of fear and worry.  Those things are not from Me and those things only rob you of My blessings. 

Behold!  Come forth out of that shack you have built around yourself.  Step out and let me demolish it for good. 

Take my hand and step into what I have prepared for you.  You will be glad!  My provision for you is good.  Trust in Me.  Trust that I will always care for you. There is a place in My heart for you.  You are precious and beloved.  I call you by name for I created you for Me.  Delight in Me as I delight in you.

“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?  “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;  and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”  Matthew 6:26-30

Feed My People

Those that grieve, your time of grief is over.  The harvest is ripe.  Those that anger in unforgiveness, forgive and let it go.  I require a pure heart. 

Come with Me to the mountain top.  Look below.  My people hunger and thirst.  All day long, the cries of their souls reach My ears.  Feed My people so not one of them is lost. 

Go out onto the byways.  I will provide all that you need.  Do not worry after your own needs, for I know what you need and I will provide. 

Come sit with Me.  I long to share with you the desires of My heart.  The longing of My heart is that not one of My children goes astray.  Speak with love, but speak truth.  So many are lost and blind for lack of My Word.  And now they are deaf.  Go and lead them by the hand.  It will require My gentle and loving touch. 

But you, stand firm.  Build your house on Me, solid ground.  When the waters come, you will not drown. When the winds blow, you will not be swept away.  When the fire burns, you will not be scorched.  Keep your focus on Me at all times. 

I have much to show you, but you will only hear if your gaze is stayed on Me.  For My voice is a whisper in the wind, yet the evidence of My plan is all around you.  Do you not see that I will not allow even one of Mine to be lost?  Though the world rages, in Me is perfect peace.


“He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.”  Deuteronomy 8:3

Valley of Bones

Do you see this valley of dry bones?  It is vast and desolate.  Oh how My soul cries out for these My children.  My heart breaks for all these lost souls! 

Did you go when I called you?  Did you proclaim My Word?

Go now.  I will empower you. 

From each corner of the world, My Name will be proclaimed.  In My power, you will see life come into these dry bones.  Nothing can stop you when you are in Me.  Do not fear the world nor man. 

Do not compromise what you know to be true.  Truth will always overcome darkness.  I did not compromise when I hung on the cross for you.  I hung on that cross till completion.  I assured your salvation. 

Now go, set the captives free and blow My life into those dry bones. 

I yearn for all my children to be set free and brought into My sheepfold.  I am the good shepherd and I care for you.  My love is everlasting and it is your strength.  Do not fear, but go in confidence.  I go with you. Truly, nothing can separate you from Me.  I guide your path and I send you in My protection and power.

Wait, stop and watch.  Look at those dry bones coming back to life.  It is My power and My great love that wills it and so it is. 

Come, come and go where I send you.  I shod your feet with the Gospel of peace.  I have already prepared the way. All you have to do is walk it.  Walk, walk with Me and set the captives free.

“The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.  He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.  He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”  I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”   Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!  This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.  I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’” So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.  I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.”  Ezekial 37:1-10

Armor

Lo and behold, I am the Lord your God. I do not leave you motherless or fatherless. I am your family. In dark times, I have been the one who held you. I was and have always been there comforting and providing for you. 

Oh that you would turn from your wicked ways. Turn from it and leave all behind.

I will equip you and transform you. Look at the armor I have created for you. It is beautiful to behold. I made it with precious metals you have never beheld. My armor will sustain you. You will grow and be transformed in My armor. Wear My armor each and every day. You will be safe in My armor. The enemy will not touch you in My armor.

Run to me! Run and stay in My presence. Nothing can harm or touch you when you are with me. The enemy is seeking you out, but he will not find you. I cover you and you are safe.

A love like mine you have never experienced. You will not find it in the places you look. It is only found in Me. Come, run to Me.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”  Ephesians 6:10-17 NIV
