No Comprise

No compromise.

There is no compromise in how I love you.  I held nothing back when I died on the cross for you.  I fully forgive you and remember your sins not.  Truly, there is no compromise in how I love you. 

But you do not love Me fully.  What do I require?  A repentant heart full of belief and faith.  A faith that propels you forward in faith and obedience.  Oh, the treasures I have for those who faithfully follow Me and only Me. 

Do not be deceived, my child.  I will not share you with others.  You are fully mine and mine alone. 

Open your eyes and see what awaits you in their house.  It’s paltry and worthless.  It doesn’t even compare to the home I prepare for you.  Theirs is ashes and rot. Yet, my house is full of eternal treasures, joy and peace.  I long to bless you, but you cannot receive my blessings when you walk the world’s path. 

Here, take My hand.  Let Me lead you along My path. I will protect you and sustain you.  Look!  My path is surrounded by living waters and fig trees galore. 

Be transformed, My child.  In My house, you will lack nothing.  Set your heart against the things of this world. Be singularly focused on Me and Me alone.  I will not let you down nor will you be disappointed. 

Do you honestly think you will miss out by living a life dedicated to Me?  No, I tell you, you will gain all things.  You will not lack a single thing. 

Do not be discouraged. This world only gives pain and heartache. It may be disguised as what your heart seeks, but it’s hell.  Only I have what your heart truly longs for. 

Set your feet on My path.  Obey My Word and seek My presence.  Long after Me with a pure heart.  Let go and hold on to Me. Again, I say, I will not disappoint you.

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found.  Psalms 119:35

I Have Commissioned You

Hear, hear!  The Lord is good. The Lord is holy. 

It is with my great love that I save you.  My grace is more than sufficient.  My mercy is great.  It extends far, low, wide and high.  It goes to great lengths.  It reaches great heights. 

My grace penetrates the darkest of places including minds and hearts.  There is no where I will not go.  No place is closed to me.  Do not give up, do not stop hoping or believing.  It may seem like a lost world, but it is mine. 

Truly, it is not lost to me.  My desire is to redeem and to restore all back to me. 

You are my agents.  I have chosen and appointed you.  Do you not remember?  I commissioned you to go out into the world, to travel the byways in my name.  Will you join me?  Will you travel with me as I seek my sheep?  They are lost and my heart longs to find them. 

Oh you may be weary, but be refreshed in me.  The work is great and the reward greater.

“I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Your servant, for I do not forget Your commandments.”  Psalm 119:176

Abide

You have walked and walked and walked, and I have been with you every step of the way.

Even when you went your own way, I was with you. Even when you went someone else’s path, there I was too. Child, I have never left you.

You have never been alone. In your darkest moments, I was with you. Even when you didn’t see me, I was there waiting on you. Do you see me now as you look back? Do you see me there waiting? I have always been with you and I always will.

You don’t have to take another step. At this place, at this time, I have a resting place for you. Come and stay.

Let me do the walking. Let me pave the way. If you abide in me, you will find your journey effortless. You will glide past every obstacle, through every hard place, and through every hard decision. But you must abide in me.

I guarantee I can make it work out better than you ever could. Only abide in me. Abide in me, and you will be amazed at the work of my hands. I long to amaze you, to bring awe, to bring you joy and gladness, to set your feet to dancing.

In my house, there is rest, joy and gladness. It oozes off my walls and pours down the roofs. It’s so much better, so much better than this. This thing you try to build with your hands. Your building will lead to not. It will not withstand the fire. But what you allow to build with me at the helm will be eternal.

Abide. Beloved, abide in me.

So I rested, and I heard the Lord say “well done, my good and faithful servant.”


“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

I am still creating

In seven days, I created the Earth, the heavens, and everything in it. In a moment, a flash of light, I created you. I planned you from the beginning of time. Just as my creations cause wonder and awe so do you.

Everything about you was thought out with purpose, intent, and destiny. You are a legacy of who I am. You are my testimony. A testimony of my great love, mercy, and grace.

And yet, I am not done. Even as I am not done creating the heavens and the Earth. I continue to grow you, changing and transforming you. For what purpose? For my purpose.

Never doubt that I am intricately involved in all aspects of your life. I am working in every minute detail. Ask of me for direction. Surely I will speak. You never have to wonder as I am always speaking. Listen. I am the still small whisper in the wind. Listen. I am still creating.

“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.”

Solid Ground

I am a fisher of men. Come join Me in the water. 

I see you in the stream, but you’re standing on slippery rock.  As the water flows around you, you will surely fall. 

Do not stand on the promises of this world.  It is sin. First comes death and then decay.  The ruler of this earth is a deceiver.  He has nothing for you, but lies and traps.  His time is short.  Run away from him. 

Stand on solid ground.  Stand in My word.  Obey My word.  Obedience comes at a price, but the prize far outweighs the sacrifice.  I am your reward. 

Stand in Me.  I will never let you fall.  I am your house built on a solid foundation.  Take shelter in Me.  The winds may blow, the sky may be full of thunder and the earth may shake, but my house will remain firm.  It will not crumble. Run to Me and take shelter in My presence. 

I will give you wings to soar in the wind.  You will be like an eagle in the sky.  Flying high above it all.  I will lift you high above the mire and the pestilence.  High above in my presence you will find freedom.  This freedom I freely offer. 

You are mine and mine alone. 

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”  Matthew 7:24-27

Surrounded

Lo and behold, I am with you even unto the end of the age. 

Do you see Me on your left side? I have provision for you. Blessings and abundance that you cannot access unless I release it to you.

Do you see Me on your right side? I have your salvation here in My hands. I allow favor to wash over you.  Favor that no man can earn and every man desires. 

Do you sense Me behind you? I am your protection. I gird you up and strengthen your legs.  No one can come at you as they will never get past Me. 

Look, I am standing in front of you. I have love, goodness and loving kindness for you. It’s the kind of love that settles your soul and fills your mind with peace. 

I surround you with My presence. Do not step outside of it. Stay and abide. 

“You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”  Psalms 16:11 NLT

Hide Away With Me

I am to be praised, glorified and worshipped. I am He who created the heavens and the earth. You cannot stand in my presence for it is too much for you. Even what I do allow should cause you to bow down and worship. I am the Lord your God!

Do you think that your circumstances are too much for Me to bear? No! They are also not too much for you to bear either. With Me by your side, you can rest. Not only that, but I command joy and rest in the midst of it. See! By my righteous hand, I can bring peace and gladness in your situation. That is what I am trying to bring you; strength and obedience that bears peace, joy and righteousness. It’s for My glory.

Day and night, I am doing a new work. I am transforming you into My likeness. Look away from what troubles you, from what afflicts you, from what attacks you. Look at Me only. For I am your salvation. I am your refuge. Come. Come hide away with Me. In Me, you will find all you need. I am your ever-present help.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2

In My House

Though the walls come tumbling down, My house will not be destroyed. For it is built on a firm foundation. I am the foundation. A foundation made of love, truth, grace and forgiveness. Nothing can come against Me. I am your foundation.

Come beloved. Come rest in My house. Be at peace and rest.

In My home, you will be nourished. Look! Behold! I have set a banqueting table before you. Feast. I long to provide for you. Not just enough to sustain you. But overflowing. Pressed down and multiplied.

I long to bring you joy. Joy to rest. Joy to laugh. Joy to dance. Joy to play.  
In My house, you will find all you need and do much more.

“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.””

God in the Thunder

I am the God in the thunder.

I am in the earthquake and the hurricane. 

Be in awe of my strength and majesty.

Yet, I am also gentle and humble.

I am the whisper in the wind.

I am your gentle embrace.

Take my hand and follow Me.

Diligently follow Me.

The path is surrounded by snares and traps.

But you will not be harmed.

You are protected.

I will exalt you for My pleasure and My glory.

Follow after Me.

I am your gentle and loving Shepherd.

“In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure.” Isaiah 33:6 NLT

Open the Storehouse

It’s time to revisit the dreams and desires of your youth.  The visions and passions I gave you in the bloom of your first love with me.  Those things have not passed. 

I will revive the dreams of old.  I will make them come to fruition.  All you have to say is yes and position yourself with a humble and open heart. 

Be ready to move in the direction I move you in.  For the glory of My Name.  For My testimony. 

You can not imagine what I have in store for you.  Open up the storehouse and watch Me pour it in and fill it to overflowing. 

I love you, my child.  I am proud of you.  My hand is always on you.  Be at peace.  You are my good and faithful servant.  I see your heart and I am well pleased.

The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 28:12
